A visit of
two officers of the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI)
Two officers
of the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) established in Nairobi
Kenya visited Interbank Burundi on July 31, 2002.
Mrs Elise Bizou
AHOUANMENOU, Underwriter, and Mr Cyprien SAKUBU, Chief Investor
Relations Manager, held talks with Messrs Eugène RUTAZIBWA
and Samson NINTERETSE respectively commercial Manager and Studies
and Strategies Head.
Those talks
were centred on the ATI policy in the field of insurance on political
risks and risks related to credits for cross border trading operations.
Let's recall
the ATI is an African Institution of the PTA supported by the world
Bank and underwriters of Lloyd's of London. The founder members
of ATI are Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and
Zambia.
It's main objective
is to facilitate the promotion of intra-african external trade starting
with the member-countries.
