Auction: Session n°65
The 65th session
for hard Currency Auction took place on Tuesday 10 September at
the Central Bank with the participation of all the local commercial
Bank.
The amount to
be auctioned was EUR 1,000,000 split into 20 equal Shares of EUR
50,000 each, versus an amount of EUR 2,000,000 during the previous
auction.
For a bottom
rate of 1 EUR = BIF 1,045.0000 the reference rate was set to1EUR=
BIF1,045.0848 with no substantial change of the medium rate applied
until September 10.
The highest
rate proposed by the banks was 1EUR=BIF1, 045.0999 whereas the lowest
was 1EUR= BIF 890.0000.
The unsatisfied
demand was 1EUR = BIF 5,400,000
