A
Meeting with Clients of Branches operating in the countryside
 |
The
Bank hosted a get-together cocktail for clients of Ngozi,
Kirundo, Gitega and Muyinga branches who had reported numerously
to Bujumbura on the occasion.
Let's
recall that such meeting constitute one of the major pillars
of the clientele approach of the Interbank Burundi Business
policy. Ideas and considerations expressed during those meetings
help us to develop our reflection on means and ways to improve
our services.
|
The
big cocktail organized on January 31, 2003 on the occasion of the
inauguration of Bujumbura port branch, falls in this approach; nearly
2,000 people from all segments of the clientele had attended that
cocktail.
In the same way, a more selective farewell cocktail was also hosted
on behalf of outgoing Brarudi General Manager Mr Peter Van Brecht,
who was leaving our country, on April 19th, 2003.
During the cocktail
organized on June 6th, exchanges focused on facilities offered by
the Interbank interconnected computer network of our branches and
counters, which has contributed, if we may say so, to the shortening
of time and space for all our clients, and its future geographical
extension to Rumonge and Kayanza as well as on the funding of their
activities.
The clients
who had attended seized the opportunity to reiterate their thanks
to the Interbank Burundi Management for its understanding and support
to the Gitega and the Ngozi market places when they once took fire,
in Year 2000.
In addition,
they expressed the wish to perpetuate such meetings, a wish which
met the Bank's fundamental options to develop a constant partnership
with its clients.
